Led by sisters Mai and Ran Handa, Bagdad Cafe The Trenchtown are one of Japan’s longest- running reggae bands formed in 2001 and has consistently been at the heart of the reggae scene in Asia.
From their debut album ‘Love Sunset’ through ‘Movin’ On’ until the most recent ‘Everlong’ the band has sought to create new vibes within the genre, performed regularly at Fuji Rock and have their own annual large-scale festival in Osaka ‘Meets The Reggae’.
They will be performing their first headline show in Hong Kong, along with local ska band The Red Stripes, Cantonese dancehall vocalist Mouse FX and vinyl-only selectors.
