‘Golden Flower’ marks Mignon’s grooviest release yet
The producer’s third EP fuses house with breakbeat, progressive & electro, plus a trippy remix from Oho
Seoul-based DJ and producer Mignon drops ‘Golden Flower’, his third EP and first release since parting ways with Honey Badger Records.
Known for weaving house, techno, and bass into hypnotic floor-fillers, Mignon has built a reputation through releases on Ruffhouse Munich and Mosaik Seoul, plus a Kitsuné Hot Stream feature.
With Golden Flower, he sharpens his focus on pure groove, body-first rhythms, and an eclectic blend of breakbeat, progressive, and electro hues.
“The album was crafted with a focus on intuitive rhythms and energy that make your body react instantly,” Mignon explains.

The opener, ‘Let It Slide’, rides in on airy breaks and luminous synths before a rolling groove takes charge. ‘Electrosphere’ injects sharper energy, layering acid-dipped synth lines over a bassline designed to lock dancers in.

The title track, ‘Golden Flower’ is the EP’s centrepiece, driven by a deep bassline and crisp percussion, balanced with light, uplifting chords.
‘Nothing But Trapped’ pivots darker, its jagged synths and icy melodies veering into spine-tingling territory while still holding a danceable edge.
Closing the tracklist, Seoul’s rising talent Oho reimagines ‘Let It Slide’ with tribal percussion plus warped vocals and synth textures for a trippy, organic finish.
