Vietnam's Get Looze teams up with MYXE on fierce new 'Got Milk' track

Ho Chi Minh City's rising talent Get Looze has joined forces with another burgeoning artist who's work has been turning heads recently, Norwegian producer MYXE. The pair have combined brilliantly to produce their new hard-hitting club track, 'Got Milk'.

All things considered, it's been a fine year for Get Looze. The turntablist, DJ and producer made the step up from turning out bootlegs to release his debut original production – his 'Ghost Father' collaboration with compatriot, Dustee. Fortunately, his fans haven't had to wait too long for a follow-up thanks to the latest effort which comes courtesy of the Young Gunz label. His wingman on this club-destroying mission is someone who's been making waves of his own in the last few years. The story goes that MYXE was scouted by Moby, leading the electronica heavyweight to sign the Norwegian talent to his own Little Idiot label. His work has also found homes on Universal-Island, Starbox, and Republic Records, and his sound combines tough, club sensibilities with a polished, pop-friendly sheen.

'Got Milk' sees the Get Looze and MYXE in confident mood, dropping dance-floor fire that explodes with energy and a much-needed sense of fun. The track charges along at a frenetic pace as the spoken word vocal urges the crowd to 'shake it'. The all-important breakdown appears as sirens blare before the percussion builds to a frenzy and the beat bursts back in. Dancers are all but guaranteed to burn off a few calories to this weapon, and we suspect this one is destined to do maximum club damage.

Get Looze celebrated the release in playful mood, urging his followers to join him in the 'GotMilkChallenge'. The rules seem straightforward enough – he simply asks fans to post imaginative pictures of themselves with milk visible in the shot, then tag Get Looze so he can pick a winner. Lactose intolerant readers beware!
