The Hong Kong based label returns with a 2nd round of Asia's underground producers

In a fruitful continuation of an ambitious 4-volume for-charity compilation series for 2021, Hong Kong based FuFu Records announces ‘88 - Double Happiness Vol.2’.
The series set out to unearth some of Asia’s finest electronic producers, and this second volume certainly confirms the labels efforts to nail that agenda.
Vol.1 featured a rocksteady curation of Asia’s acclaimed producers including Munir, Dazzle Drums, Hamza Rahimtulla, ThirstKid, Bongomann, Rafiki, Go Dam and Luxixi — the line up attracted the support of international artists such as Move D, Soichi Terada, Camion Bazar, Chida and Kamma & Masalo.

Fufu Records’ partnership with NGO One Tree Planted spurred the compilation series, with 80% of sales going to the organisation’s efforts for reforestation across Asia.
Vol.2 gets a little heavier on the sound across the selected artists, featuring tracks from Pakistan’s Rudoh, who is also behind recently launched Karachi-Bangkok imprint Jugaar Records, Fzpz from Singapore, Filipino artist Saint Guel, forward thinking South Korean artist Mignon, the reincarnated Hong Kong musician Joi Lau, India’s infectious bass-technician Zokhuma and two ground-breaking Chinese artists, Temple Rat and DJ Doggy.
The 8-track compilation is packed with forward-thinking flavours that draw across a variety of electronic influences from psychedelic techno to tropical and acid funky house.

FuFu Records Double Happiness Vol.2 is out now June 16. But while you patiently wait, we’ve got an exclusive sneak of Rudoh ‘Clean Phase’, courtesy of FuFu Records — dive in below.
