Former SFX heavyweight gets a top role with A2LiVE in China

A2LiVE in China welcomed Eric Reithler-Barros as Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer of the company at their Shanghai headquarters. More specifically, he will head a variety of teams to assist in driving the rapid Asian expansion and development of the rapidly growing entertainment company. He will also sit on the company's board.

Reithler-Barros brings with him more than 25 years of experience, previously serving as VP of Global Partnerships at SFX Entertainment Inc, the $1B conglomerate that bought at powerhouse EDM brands such as Tommorowland, Stereosonic and Beatport.

“It’s no secret that China represents the largest and most nascent market potential for dance music culture in the world. Nothing could be more exciting than to engage it from multiple new angles, hand in hand with the talented staff and board of this visionary company” - Eric Reithler-Barros on the emergence of electronic music in China.

A2LiVE is leading China's explosive electronic dance music industry. Their highly lauded Budweiser STORM Music Festival has seen international artists Skrillex, David Guetta, Afrojack and more come to China and their events reach cities like Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and more.

Reithler-Barros hails from New York but will relocate to Shanghai to work under A2LiVE’s CEO and founder Eric Zho at the company’s headquarters.

As the region watches A2LiVE’s rapid growth, it will be interesting to see where he takes the company next.
