Returning for its 8th edition, Fly To The Moon festival is happening in the land of smiles this weekend. Celebrate the end of the year on the stunning beaches of Koh Mak Island with Singha Music, ceremonial dances, and all manner of day-time sports activities and sophisticated Thai cuisine over a 5-day festive journey.
Founded by Tim Roemer and Superstar Panda, Fly to the Moon is dreamland for dance music lovers and Thai afficianafos alike. Attendees can cherry-pick from a wide variety of activities on offer – from boat parties, yoga, kayaking, golf, boxing, cycling, cooking classes and massage treatments. At night you can dance away to electronic music from local and international DJs, with delicious Thai food from local merchants. Review the fun from last year below:
From techno to house, two highlights from the DJ line-up are Koish and Elehe, who are the organizers of a local music event UNSTๆ. Koish is a Bangkok-based German transplant whose music ranges from classic trance to old school electro, while Elehe is a Thai local who's known to rock crowds with a deadly mix of break beat and minimal grooves.
