Chapter 24 has welcomed Kurt Baggaley for its latest installment and he’s delivered an EP titledSpiral compiled with four variations of melodic techno. Mixmag Asia jumped on hosting the premiere of one track a week before the full EP is released.
Baggaley takes the helm on the EP and offers up a compelling and mesmerizing piece of electronica-inspired techno in the original mix with the deeper and darker staircase mix following it and sounding ready for dance floors.
The tracks are supplemented by versions retouched by THe WHite Shadow and Nhar, the latter creating a sexier sound with the addition of French vocals. Coming in at just over seven minutes, we’ve chosen to premiere THe WHite Shadow version because of its electrifying after effect.
The EP sounds well at home on Chapter 24, a quickly rising melodic house and techno label with heart and soul.
Baggaley himself is an artist whose sound has evolved from his early days as electro artist Scape One. He draws influence from 80’s Chicago house, Detroit techno and club music from New York. His earlier 2015 EP called titled Former Self was met with widespread acclaim.
