Elijah returns to Asia with book launch talks & shows in Malaysia & Singapore

Visionary DJ, writer, and creative strategist Elijah is returning to Asia to promote his newly launched book, Close The App, Make The Ting: Transformative Prompts For The Modern Artist.

Fresh off its London release on February 1, Elijah brings his thought-provoking discussions and immersive experiences to Malaysia and Singapore, organised by Mixmag Asia in collaboration with Collective Minds Asia and Jambu Jambu Asia respectively.

Last year, Elijah took his acclaimed Yellow Squares lecture series to Hong Kong and Bangkok, delving into the evolving landscape of electronic music and creativity.

In Close The App, Make The Ting, Elijah distills years of insights from his Yellow Squares project—a series of Instagram prompts turned global lecture series—into a collection of transformative ideas for modern artists.

The book explores creative resilience, artistic evolution, and rethinking industry norms, making it essential reading for anyone navigating the 2020s creative landscape.

In Singapore, on March 20, Elijah will take over Mandala Club for an event hosted by Collective Minds x Mixmag Asia. The night will begin with a book launch and talk from 7:30pm-9pm, followed by a 30-minute Q&A/panel discussion.

Afterwards, attendees can enjoy an afterparty from 9:30pm-1am headlined by Elijah himself and featuring a local supporting act yet to be announced.

Elijah’s Malaysia stop takes place on March 22 at LaGula in Kuala Lumpur, where he will host a book launch and panel discussion from 6pm-9pm.

The event, presented by Jambu Talks x Mixmag Asia, continues with an afterparty at Pickle Dining from 10pm, where Elijah will headline with support from Mdm Woo, Mister Rodrigo b2b Kaiza, Joey G, and Jonnyvicious.

More than just a book tour, Elijah's return to Asia is all about creating new conversations, breaking creative boundaries, and inspiring the next wave of artists.
