EDC Thailand returns to Phuket in January with expanded layout & new experiences
The festival adds immersive zones spotlighting Thai culture & talent, plus a stacked international line-up including Tiësto, Nina Kraviz, Goldie & more
Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Thailand returns to Phuket from January 16-18, 2026, expanding its footprint at Rhythm Park with an expanded festival layout, larger crowd capacity, and new onsite experiences.
Produced by Future Vibes and Insomniac, the festival continues the brand’s global legacy, which began in Los Angeles in 1997 and has since grown into a worldwide series known for large-scale production and multisensory design.
This year’s program includes international artists such as Tiësto, Goldie, Armin van Buuren, Zedd, Axwell b2b Sebastian Ingrosso, Afrojack, Nina Kraviz, Fisher, DJ Tennis and many others.
The line-up also incorporates Thai and regional acts across house, techno, bass, and contemporary adaptations of Thai folk and soul genres, adding a broad local component to the festival’s music direction.

There will be major additions that define this year’s edition.
Hotel EDC Thailand introduces a full resort takeover at Angsana Laguna Phuket, offering themed rooms, daily parties, wellness sessions, and exclusive access to the official beach event on January 15.
Then there’s Downtown EDC, which expands into a structured cultural zone within the festival grounds. It includes new cultural and activity areas featuring interactive karaoke environments inspired by Thai mobile music trucks, live drag performance spaces, and bracelet-based gaming zones.

Additional coastal-themed sections provide wellness and activity areas with Thai soul, Luk Thung, Mor Lam, reggae, and disco programs supported by dancers and a bar serving traditional herbal infusions.
EDC Thailand 2026 follows a record-breaking 2025 debut that ranked #3 in attendance among all EDC events worldwide (behind only the USA and Mexico).
The inaugural edition generated significant tourism growth and economic activity for Phuket, and the 2026 festival now doubles in scale with a footprint of more than 380,000 square meters and a projected capacity of up to 200,000 attendees per day.
