EDC officially heads to India
Not quite our neck of the woods but close enough
After conquering North America (both in the US and in Mexico) and jumping across the pond to the UK in 2013, Insomniac has announced its next international expansion in India, this coming autumn.
EDC will debut in Delhi on November 12 and 13 and will partner with Only Much Louder, a Mumbai-based event promoter for its launch.
Grandeur is no rarity when it comes to the major festival brand, but the announcement arrives with confirmation that EDC plans to bring one of the largest line ups made up of both international and local talents as well as a signature mega production.
"Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated by the country’s colorful and exotic culture. I know it’s a place where the magic of EDC can come alive in a truly unique way," Pasquale Rotella, CEO of Insomniac said.
