Club Conscious heads to Bali's Nuanu for second DJ bootcamp in March

Bali’s Club Conscious crew is back to host another bootcamp for those wanting to accelerate their career in the art of DJing.

This time, they’re inviting attendees over to Labyrinth Studio in Nuanu, Bali's newest creative haven which boasts a permanent festival site adorned with artwork from iconic Burning Man artists.

For this edition, Club Conscious has partnered up with d&b Audiotechnik — a globally recognized sound system company who share the same ethos and commitment towards sustainability. Attendees will delve into a masterclass by sound system design expert Gareth Kelbrick, gaining valuable insights into audio and mastering d&b Audiotechnik systems, equipping them to become club-ready DJs.

Guest instructors include Aluku Rebels and Gelly Kusuma, each bringing a wealth of experience and illustrious careers to guide attendees through an enriching retreat.

In addition to co-founding the HAWT label and underground parties of LA, Gelly is a seasoned DJ and producer with releases on reputable labels such as Robsoul, Moulton Music, and Guesthouse. As an audio engineer, Gelly’s worked with top artists like Robin Thicke, Kelly Rowland, and Mos Def. He's also contributed to concerts by the Jacksons and Mary J. Blige, as a ProTools programmer.

Another perk attendees will benefit from is the essential mindset mentorship by Artist Therapist Larisa Loredana Mitrica, which comes in partnership with Music Meets Mind. With her background in psychology and extensive experience as a record label owner and Romanian minimal house producer, Larisa offers insights to empower creatives beyond technical skills, providing the strong mindset needed to thrive as an artist.
