CLOT x Ralph Lauren for Year of the Ox collab
Sino-US fashion ties strengthen as Ralph Lauren teams up with CLOT
Having always embraced influences from the East and West, trendsetting Hong Kong streetwear label CLOT has collared up their collaboration game with a latest announcement of a new collection with Ralph Lauren. The collaborative collection intends to celebrate the coming Year of the Ox,
Since being established in 2013 by Kevin Poon and pop singer Edison Chen, CLOT has raised the bar for Hong Kong’s streetwear fashion with collaborations with the likes of Fred (Fred Samuel), Nike and Stüssy — their collab with Nike for the ‘Kiss of Death’ sneaker was the global athletic brand’s first collaboration with a Hong Kong label.
So on the brighter side of US-Sino relations, the fashion world is getting along just fine. The refined collab between CLOT and Ralph Lauren looks to bridge distinctive styles of American and Chinese heritage and will launch at the end of January just in time to ring in the Year of the Ox.
Diving into the crossover collection, CLOT enables its signature print with an update that includes the American brand's iconic pony logo, across a variety of wardrobe staples including classic polo and Oxford shirts, windbreaker, tie-dye sweatshirts, all encompassing print tees and a wool varsity jacket with a dragon chest patch.
Ralph Lauren x CLOT will be available from 27 January in JUICE stores in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Taipei, as well as the JUICE online store and the POLO app.
