Ben UFO handpicks Gonno to launch RASA’s Curated By series

RASA is set to launch its Curated By series on February 15, with UK tastemaker Ben UFO selecting Japanese electronic artist Gonno as the inaugural guest.

This series aims to highlight artists who bring a distinctive approach to electronic music, and Ben UFO, known for his impeccable curation and genre-spanning DJ sets, is stepping into a new role as a selector rather than a performer.

Gonno is widely regarded as one of Japan’s most respected electronic musicians. His productions, released on esteemed labels such as International Feel and Beats In Space, have received global recognition.

Tracks like ‘Acdise #2’ and ‘Fantastic Planet’ showcase his ability to craft intricate, emotive soundscapes that resonate deeply with listeners. His sets are equally compelling, blending house, techno, and acid influences with a keen sense of storytelling, making him a sought-after name on international line-ups from Berghain to Dekmantel Selectors.
