BAPE is celebrating anniversaries around Asia with 2 new capsule collections

Iconic Japanese brand A Bathing Ape is celebrating several anniversaries across Asia with unique capsule collections. Founded in 1993 founded by Nigo in Ura-Harajuku, BAPE revealed new designs in honour of their fifth birthday in Thailand and 14th in Hong Kong.

The Thai capsule features a set of asymmetrical camo-printed hoodies that merge blue, red, white, green and black. Similar-patterned shorts, as well as a mouse pad, are included in the capsule collection. To finish it off, BAPE designed t-shirts with the Thai symbol “๕” (meaning 5) and the motif “BAPE STORE BANGKOK”.

In Hong Kong, the capsule is characterised by the brand's collaboration with BABY MILO. It features colourful "HKG" branding, with a black, purple and blue camouflage pattern, as well as the famous brand's signature: the SHARK and the APE HEAD. All of these prints will be available either on hoodies, t-shirts, sweatpants, shorts, socks, and phone cases for the iPhone 11 pro and iPhone 11 pro max exclusively.

Sales of the Thai and Hong Kong capsule collections started on April 18 in their physical stores. To know more about the Thai collection, check more here. For the Hong Kong capsule, check here.

This year, BAPE is also celebrating its 15th anniversary in New York City, which is further testament that the Japanese brand will continue to take over the world for a long time to come.
