Voice Unmuted is an ongoing initiative exploring how sound can speak beyond language—connecting communities through listening, performance, and shared creative space.

Led by Mae Happyair, Creative Director of NON NON NON, Bangkok’s Queer & Women underground community, in collaboration with Heinrich Böll Stiftung Southeast Asia, a German foundation supporting democracy, gender equality, and human rights.

In the region, HBS works with artists and activists to amplify diverse voices and foster cross-cultural dialogue, continuing a shared vision of bridging art, activism, and experimental sound.

Rooted in Bangkok’s independent and evolving nightlife scene, Voice Unmuted highlights the stories and practices of artists—showing how creative expression can strengthen communities and sustain culture.
