On Sunday, FAC51 The Haçienda is hosting a small industry, friends and family screening of Michael Winterbottom’s highly acclaimed film 24 Hour Party People at Kunsthalle Bangkok.
Starring Steve Coogan, the film remains one of the most culturally significant portrayals of dance music and its origins, and a love letter to Manchester and the music that travelled far beyond it.
Set within a 150-capacity art space, the evening serves as a simple introduction to the Haçienda’s history and ethos ahead of the Bangkok show.
Peter Hook will also make a short video appearance on the night to thank everyone for coming and being part of the Bangkok project.
