Bangkok-based top chefs to showcase Asian flavours at Tomorrowland

Two of Asia’s best culinary chefs, Gaggan Anand and Chef Ton, are headed to Tomorrowland’s festival grounds as they take over Mesa Garden with their unique flavours and gastronomical flair.

In addition to its musical line-up, the festival has revealed a stacked list of names from the culinary world. Expect two restaurants, 38 food caterers and 12 chefs to provide attendees with Tomorrowland’s ‘Tastes of the World’ cuisines.

Hailing from Thailand, Chef Ton (Thitid “Ton” Tassanakajohn) owns multiple restaurants in Bangkok such as Le Du, which just won Best Restaurant 2023 in Asia, holds a Michelin star and has been in the top ten ranks since 2020.

Chef Ton’s personal recipes are mostly inspired by childhood home-cooked meals, infused with French-European techniques and Thai ingredients. He also owns Nusara, which made its way to the third place in this year’s Best Restaurant 2023 in Asia, making him the only Thai chef with two restaurants on this prestigious list. He’ll also be opening a new restaurant called Niras in Hong Kong.
