Bandcamp announces more fee-waiving days
The first Fridays of the next three months will be fee-free on the music platform
After scheduling another fee-waiving day for May 1, Bandcamp has extended the initiative with another two fee-free days.
These will take place on the first Fridays of the next free months: May 1, June 5 and July 3.
The move is aiming to help artists who are struggling through the financial struggles imposed by the coronavirus pandemic. The first fee-free day in March saw $4.3 million spent on the platform.
