Âme is heading to Asia
How does an Innervisions warehouse party sound?
Reports of Âme's first show in Asia since 2014 have begun trickling through the virtual sphere today with at least one show in Asia announced so far and but three more to come.
Singapore will proudly host Kristian Beyer of Âme, pronounced 'AHM', who will be playing a DJ set on Friday November 4th.
The event is part of pop-up series called Escape 56, an initiative by Singaporean mover and shaker Zig Zach and Jägermeister that moves around the island. In collaboration with The Henderson Project, this edition of Escape 56 will be held in an industrial estate, which will appropriately lend the event its required warehouse vibe.
Ticket and event information is yet to be released but we do know there will only be 250 - 300 tickets available for this event.
Âme, a Berlin based DJ and production duo made up of Kristian Beyer & Frank Wiedemann, run the Innervisions imprint along with Dixon and together are one of the world's most respected and influential families in techno today. The Berghain/Panorama Bar regulars are notoriously selective with the events they play and it goes without saying that any opportunity to experience Âme is rare and not to be missed.
We'll keep you updated with further information and dates but you can also follow BLACKOUT (Singapore) for updates.
For now enjoy Âme and Dixon's BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix from earlier this year.
