BLOND:ISH & ABRACADABRA announce a digital festival dedicated to Earth Day
Wonderfruit & Rainforest Pavilion will both make their debut in front of a Western audience
Known for her passion, energy and love for the planet, DJ and producer BLOND:ISH is a radical purveyor of music, magic, self-love and eco-activism. She sprinkles small doses of this spirit every weekend over Twitch via her Human Nature show and every so often she packages it all up as a festival. This time, she's doing it in honour of Earth Day.
Abracadabra Earth Day Weekender will take place from April 22 - 25 with musical acts including BLOND:ISH herself, Lexlay, Soul Clap, John Acquaviva, Magic Giant, Lauren Lane and Asia’s own Rainforest Pavilion (more on that later). Aside from music, viewers can also immerse themselves in wellness programming intertwined with environmental discussion panels and engaging workshops focused on restoring, sustaining and protecting our planet, including a talk with Wonderfruit who will be representing Asia on the green festival front. Additionally, the event will welcome in the era of social tokens and collect all the NFTs as Robin Schmidt from The Defiant teaches viewers how to get their crypto game on, altogether leading them into the future.
Bye Bye Plastic, a Foundation dedicated to eliminating single-use plastics from the music industry, will be curating the Eco-Activism segments of the festival. From daily panels to improv’ take-overs and roundtable discussions, including one with Seaspiracy director Kip Andersen, viewers can look forward to an inspiring rhapsody of conversations around the planet curated especially with the music community in mind all while raising funds for the foundation.
