3am Records release ‘Tracks for Turkey & Syria’ charity compilation
Proceeds from the expansive V/A album to be donated to earthquake relief efforts
UK-based label 3am Records have released a 26-track compilation designed to raise funds for those affected by the recent devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
‘Tracks for Turkey & Syria’ features a far-reaching blend of across-the-board electronic sounds, journeying through mid-tempo grooves and deep house into tougher techno-oriented rhythms. The project was turned around at an impressive speed, with the album going from conception to release in less than two weeks. Artists including Carlo Gambino, Lucky Sun, King Cosmic, and label owner Al Bradley are among those to have contributed music to the compilation, and all artists involved — including mastering engineers — donated their work for free. “This is a compilation which showcases the desire of dance music artists to spread love and commit their work for an incredibly worthy cause,” said 3am Records via the album’s press release. “A lot of love [has] gone into this project.”
All funds from this album will go to the Disasters Emergency Commission fundraiser for the Turkey & Syria earthquake.
