From June 30 to July 2, Kappa FuturFestival united an international crowd of house and techno devotees to celebrate its 10th birthday at Parco Dora in the vibrant Italian city of Torino. More than 100 different DJs played, including Peggy Gou, Carl Cox, Folamour, Carista and DJ Bone, spread across five stages with over 100,000 ticket holders present, marking the event's largest production to date.

The festival began its celebrations with the launch of two new stages - The Voyager and The Kosmo - giving attendees fresh setups to explore. The Kosmo focuses on showcasing interesting fusions of music, art and technology, overseen by artist Marinella Senatore working with Blackdove. Following the first digital art installations at last year's edition of the festival, an impressive roster of digital artists, including headliners Beryl and Oz, came through in 2023 to spotlight their work for the exhibition.

Similarly, the Art and Techno VIP package experience made its return, including dedicated visits to private collections as well as artist studios and privately guided tours around museums and galleries.

Underneath the 30 degree Italian sun, the festival's musical offering began with a first-rate platter of talent. Festivalgoers were fed an exquisite collection of acid, electro and techno from LA superstar Detroit In Effect, while Afro house and amapiano wizard Kilimanjaro came to deliver a rhythmic and percussive set. Two Majors came head to head with a powerful B2B between Major Lazer and Major League DJZ, creating an all new supergroup performance, on top of another supergroup Swedish House Mafia making their festival debut on the main stage with "a very special techno set" exclusively for Kappa Futur.

The following two sold-out dates brought an equally as impressive group of talent. Major Lazer frontman Diplo returned to the stage to go back-to-back with Maceo Plex, while festival favourite Peggy Gou sent hands in the air with her new Balearic summer release. The iconic British musician Fatboy Slim also enticed crowds with a wild set in front of even wilder visuals and dazzling stage production.

The final day was just as jam-packed with heavy-hitters, as the illustrious Carl Cox joined with Nicole Moudaber for an energy filled back-to-back. That same day, Carl Cox used both CDJs and electronic instruments to mesmerise audiences with a hybrid live set, while Disco Inferno founder, I Hate Models, captivated a sea of techno lovers with his energetic taste master curations.
