Ultra announces destinations and dates for its Asian calendar

Ultra Worldwide announced that it would debut in China, India and Australia this year and now the details surrounding the shows have been revealed.

Skipping Road to Ultra allt ogether, Ultra will arrive in China on September 9-17 as a full 2-day festival. It will also be the first time an international festival brand produces an event of this magnitude in the region.

The festival will also hit New Delhi, India at the India Exposition Mart, Greater Noida in September. See the full schedule below. Note that the * denotes RESISTANCE events.

Ultra has also announced it will make its Australian debut in Melbourne next year.

The global industry heavyweight will bring a 'Road to Ultra' event to the city in February, before hitting both Melbourne and Sydney with full-blown 'Ultra Australia' dates the following year. It follows the announcement at the brand's flagship Miami event last month that it would be expanding to the country.

ULTRA Music Festival ambitiously entered Asia in recent years, cranking out a whopping eight-city tour of the region this past year with 6 of them happening within a 10-day period. More than 350,000 festivalgoers attended events in Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Bali, Hong Kong, The Philippines and Japan, with 120,000 descending upon Tokyo's Odaiba ULTRA Park alone over the course 3 days. That's not too far off from Ultra's flagship event in Miami that sees 165,000 (55k per day) also over 3 days. The Singaporean leg saw over 45,000 revelers across two days last year.
