Singapore is planning an electronic music festival in a waterpark

The iconic Wild Wild Wet waterpark in Singapore is set to host an electronic music festival in October. Odyssey debuts on October 14th with the goal of taking “the experience of music festivals to the next level”.

While no line-up has come with the announcement of the festival, we know that it will feature up and coming electronic music artists from near and far.

“As a DJ and producer myself, I’ve always wanted to create a platform for rising talents in the music industry to showcase and connect with a wider audience,” said festival director Keith Lee. “With Odyssey, we want to bring people together to share their love for music, to give recognition for the artists as well as appreciation for their music”.

Ticket holders will be granted full access to the rides and slides at Wild Wild Wet along with the full festival experience and tickets for the experience go on sale this Friday here.

This will be the first time a festival is being held at a waterpark in Singapore with the idea last used in Taiwan in 2010 when theLOOP threw a one-day multi-stage event at the Formosa Fun Coast.

Stay-up-to-date with the Odyssey here.
