From the brand that brought you Zoukout, introducing Zoukin

Now in its 12th year in Malaysia and 25th in Singapore, the Zouk brand is one of the most well known around Asia both in the nightlife sector as well as the electronic music community for its flair in originality, innovation and dedication to its fans. Always ahead of the curve and looking to spice things up this summer, and hopefully every summer to come, their latest venture comes as Malaysia’s first indoor music festival.

The inaugural Zoukin claims that the 'nu tribe' will be completely spoilt for choice, boasting a line-up that has been curated in a way that both caters to the next generation of clubbers whilst still staying true to loyal supporters. Over 20 regional and international DJs will descend upon the five-room venue, which is being thematically transformed into a indoor music festival complete with the same type of extra facilities and activities, like mobile bars and creative displays, that you’d expect from a typical Zouk extravaganza.

Armada Music, the world’s biggest trance label, will headline the event and takeover the main room hosting artists from the label like Andrew Rayel, Jochen Miller and RODG. The room will be paired up with The Ace Room, which will be turned into The Tree House for the night and see Berlin duo M.A.N.D.Y. supported by all the local favorites.

The legendary Velvet Underground is collaborating with some of Asia’s leading clubs like Dragonfly in Jakarta and The Palace in Manila in hosting artists from around Asia and will see the room turn into The Shrine. Phuture will adopt an Amazon theme for the night and feature some of the best female talent, including DJ Brookly from Australia, Leng Yein and Mizz Kiya. And finally The Boombox will see the Bangkok Invaders come over from Thailand for the ultimate in hip-hop mash-up.

See the full line-up below.

Recently opened at its new home in TREC KL, Zouk KL is one of the most lavishly decorated and intricately designed clubs in Asia and serves as one of the most recognizable landmarks along Jalan Tun Razak in Malaysia's capital. The venue itself is a spectacle all on its own.

The one-day event happens on Friday August 5th and tickets can be purchased at the club. Visit the website here for more information.
