Thailand's biggest, wettest and wildest festival has just confirmed three days of acts to keep you cool over Songkran this year. Spanning three days over Thailand’s New Year celebrations, S2O Songkran Music Festival takes place on April 13th – 15th.
Artists performing on Friday are Laidback Luke, Jay Hardway, Jonas Blue, and Kill the Noise. Mija, Valentino Khan, Henry Fong, and Michael Calfan are billed on the second night of the festival with Yellow Claw, Seven Lions, Martin Jensen and Matthew Koma closing it out on Sunday.
This year’s theme is based on a water factory of the future, with new water mechanics, characters and a custom designed stage that includes custom-made water effects based on water fountain technology from Dubai adding a little extra to the water cannons. If you saw last year’s stage production, this will impress you even more (see the jaw-dropping pictures in the gallery below).
The fun goes down at the Oasis Arena @ SHOW DC on Rama 9 Road, which is just a stone’s throw from Bangkok’s raucous RCA clubbing district. Based on previous years, the event is expected to sell out with over 15,000 revelers are expected to attend the event each day. Tickets are still available for purchase here.
